Laura draws from a medley of lineages in both her yoga practice and teachings. She’s most inspired by Jivamukti Yoga and Katonah Yoga. In 2014, Laura studied directly under the founders of Jivamukti Yoga, David Life and Sharon Gannon, along side Rima Rabbath at the flagship Jivamukti Yoga School in New York City. She has also trained with Abbie Galvin of Katonah Yoga in NY, a yoga style which focuses more on Taoist principles, sacred geometry, and Chinese medicine. Yoga, to Laura, is prayer, freedom, and activism. You’ll undoubtedly practice to a fun playlist, sweat, sometimes chant, and ultimately leave class feeling lighter, more at ease, and more in connection with yourself and everybody around you.
