Mysore

Mysore is a particular way of teaching Ashtanga vinyasa style of yoga. The name ‘Mysore’ comes from the birthplace of Ashtanga in Mysore, India as taught by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois.

This class is aimed towards guiding our students towards developing their own personal practice. In Mysore, the student will go through their practice and/or learn the Ashtanga method at their own pace, one posture at a time. Acceleration through the practice is based on a student to student basis. As the student practices independently, the teacher will give adjustments and verbal cues. Students may arrive at any point to begin their practice.
